Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or accessing any content on Ikenga Academy (“the Platform”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

2. Account eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that a parent or guardian has consented to these terms. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

3. Subscriptions and payments

• Starter accounts are free with limited access to beginner-level content.
• Paid subscriptions (Pro, GeekMode) are billed monthly or as otherwise stated at checkout.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise recurring charges.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
• Voucher codes and promotional pricing apply only to the specific product and period stated.

4. Session locking (one device policy)

Each account may only be used by one person. Sharing account credentials to allow multiple users to access paid content simultaneously is prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension without refund. Our platform actively enforces a single active session per account.

5. Group and enterprise accounts

Group enrolments (10+ students per path, 50+ across multiple paths) are available under separate commercial terms. Contact us at chat@ikenga.ng for group pricing. Group accounts may allow multiple users but are subject to individual account policies per seat.

6. Intellectual property

All course content, videos, materials, and platform code are owned by Ikenga Academy or licensed to us. You may not copy, redistribute, sell, or republish any course content. Personal notes and projects you create remain yours.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Share your account credentials with others.
• Download, scrape, or bulk-export course content.
• Post illegal, harmful, or harassing content in community forums.
• Attempt to bypass payment or access controls.
• Use the platform for commercial training without written permission.

8. Certificates

Certificates are issued upon completing all lessons and assessments in a course. They represent completion of the Ikenga Academy curriculum and are not accredited qualifications unless otherwise stated. We do not guarantee employment outcomes.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. We will provide notice where reasonably possible. You may also delete your account at any time from your settings.

10. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Platform is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Nomadic Techs operates. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration unless prohibited by applicable law.
